Refund Policy for UtilityDoc

At UtilityDoc, we strive to provide exceptional property care services. Your satisfaction is important to us. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted, ensuring transparency and fairness.


1. Membership Fees

a. Monthly Membership Plans

  • Refunds for Cancelled Memberships:
    • Monthly membership fees are non-refundable. However, you may cancel your membership at any time, and no future charges will apply.
    • If a billing error occurs, please contact us within 14 days to request a correction or refund.

b. Annual Membership Plans

  • Partial Refunds for Cancellation:
    • If you cancel an annual membership, we will provide a prorated refund for the unused portion of your plan, minus any discounts or benefits already utilized.

2. One-Time Services

a. Service Cancellation

  • Refunds for one-time services (e.g., cleaning, painting, landscaping) will be provided under the following conditions:
    • Cancellation Before Service Delivery:
      • If you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled service, a full refund will be issued.
      • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service may incur a cancellation fee of [Insert Fee Amount].
    • Failure to Deliver Service:
      • If UtilityDoc cannot deliver the scheduled service due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

b. Dissatisfaction with Services

  • If you are dissatisfied with a one-time service, please contact us within 7 days of service completion. We will work to resolve the issue through:
    • A complimentary re-service, if applicable.
    • A partial or full refund, depending on the nature of the issue.

3. Emergency Services

Refunds for emergency services are not available unless the service is not delivered or there is a proven failure on our part to meet the agreed service terms.


4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us:
    Email hello@utilitydoc.com or call +94 777 87 52 78 with your refund request. Include your name, membership or service details, and the reason for the request.
  2. Review and Resolution:
    Our team will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
  3. Refund Issuance:
    Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 7-10 business days.

5. Exceptions

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Services successfully delivered as agreed.
  • Dissatisfaction due to issues outside UtilityDoc’s control (e.g., delays caused by customer unavailability or external factors).

6. Changes to This Policy

UtilityDoc reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
